Here's what Alison had to say about the inspiration
for this week's challenge:
I thought it would be really fun to have an inspirational piece that had some fun, bright, bold colors.. but that also could be used for a number of things.. So when I was looking for inspirational things I saw my little man Stretch "air" rocking out to some music while watching cartoons.. and BINGO.. I thought..how fun would it be to find a ROCKIN' guitar for some inspiration..Everything about these photo screams ROCK ON to me.. :).. I am so excited to see what you all come up with.. The colors are Black, Fire Red, and White.. Here is the card that I made.. I figured.. we need a COOL.. ROCK ON card.. so this is what I came up with.. Hope you like it.. HUGS
Here are projects from our other designers to help inspire you.....
Sandi ~ The Paper Trail / Celticwoman
Julie Ranae ~ Julie's Open Window

What we do ask is that the colors that are in the challenge BE our focal colors...when using additional colors, please limit them to neutrals. You are welcome to combine challenges, but we do ask that 1. They be used for the first time here 2. You mention in your post that you are playing (better yet, display our color challenge photo) and 3. OUR colors are the focus of the card.

ReplyDeletecongrats to the winners!
ReplyDeleteAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHH! Apparently my computer didn't talk to Mr. Linky last night. I HATE that! And I can't find the comments section for Challenge #03 either. Bad computer mojo apparently. But, I tried repsosting my entry several times. No go. (Boy is my husband going to be ticked! I got him off Farmville to post my card - ha.) I know there's nothing that can be done, but maybe the powers that be can work on Mr. Linky? And a comment section for each post? Thanks! Love the new challenges - your colors are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteOooo well done.. what a lovely card.. great work for all the winners :) x
