The Play Date Cafe PDCC128

What an exciting week here in The Cafe!

Before we get to this Amazing color story, we have some pretty
big news to share with you.

If you've been coming to The Cafe for any length of time, you know
that we have an invitation-only position here called
We are proud to announce that we have a brand new
PBD waiting in the wings.  She will be starting with us during
the first challenge in May, but we wanted to introduce you to
her now so you could get to know her, but we bet you
already know her quite well!
She has been a long-time supporter of our challenge,
and can be found frequently in your
favorite paper crafting magazines.

The Play Date Cafe Welcomes...

" I’m so excited to be a Private Blend Designer for
The Play Date Cafe!!
I’m a southern girl from Irmo, SC which is a
suburb of Columbia.  I’m a high school teacher and teach computer
classes. My favorite classes to teach are Photoshop and Web Page
Design. I enjoy exercising and you can
catch me at the gym several days
a week at 5am on a cardio machine browsing through current card
making magazines. I also love to travel. My favorite places to visit are
London, England and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
I started making cards and scrapbooking in the late 1990s
when a friend
of mine introduced me to stamping. I have always loved card making
and in 2010, I rekindled my love of papercrafting. My favorite things to
make are cards and mini-scrapbooks and have recently started art
journaling. I started my current blog, The Crafty Corgi, in February
2011. I also teach card making and paper craft classes at some local
scrapbooking stores and at a local assisted living facility. I really enjoy
getting to know new people through my paper crafting hobby. I’m
always trying different styles and techniques so you never know what I
might put up on my blog next."

Our design team are so excited to have Donna with us and she is
already making herself at home as part of the family!
We'll see her first official post with us May 3rd.

Now for this week's very scrumptious colors....

 Along with white
this week's suggested colors are:

This week's Cup of the Week will win a
fabby embellishment grab bag
from the PDCC Prize Vault!
