What a lovely 'pastel-y' week we had with you here
in The Cafe for Challenge #155.
Your entries were all so very 'yummy' indeed!

Now it's time to shift gears a bit and head towards Autumn
This Week's Suggested Colors ...

Cinnamon ... Squash ...Vanilla ... Sage

Before we move on, it's quite amazing to know that
three months have gone by since our most current
Private Blend Designers
were invited to be a part of our exclusive design group!

We have adored having both

Amy Tsuruta

with us and we know they have inspired you to
come play along. We've watched an influx of
Clean & Simple Stamping along with beautifully
creative layouts join our designer gallery
and we thank them for all they've meant to us.

Please take a moment to let them know how much
they will be missed & wish them well as they
continue on creative adventures into the coming new year!

We are happy to welcome back one of our terrific
sponsors who brings stamps for all of our designer
to create with ...

The Play Date Cafe Says Farewell...

Welcome to a very bittersweet week here in The Cafe.

It is time to say farewell to four amazing designers
with this week's challenge.
These designers have been part of The Play Date Cafe team
for nearly two full years and really have become family.

We want to celebrate each of these ladies and share an
individual wish for each of them...

What can we say about Savvy?!!

Savannah started designing with our team in
March, 2010 at Challenge #21
and has been a part of our Senior Design Team
since Jan, 2011.  She has been one of the
biggest ambassadors for our challenge and a
huge encourager within our team privately.
She inspired our players with everything from
cards to cupcakes...literally!

Savannah...as life brings you new opportunities within
your personal & creative life, we wish you all of the
blessings that God has to offer!

Kind-Hearted Jinny!

She joined The Cafe team in January, 2011
with Challenge #64.  Her designs have been so
very inspirational to our players & it's been a
wonderful experience for our team to watch her grow
as she continues to be the feature in so many publications.

Jinny...there are so many wonderful opportunities that
have come knocking at your door and while you have
always given our challenge priority, we are so happy to
finally share you with more of the paper-crafting world
and can't wait to see what's next for you!

Colleen...What an Inspiration!

Col joined our team as our 3rd Private Blend Designer
in January, 2011 at Challenge #63 and became a permanent
member of our team in in August of that same year.
When she joined our Senior Design Team, she became our
'internal' team newswoman, sharing all of the shout outs
and accolades within our team as a way of encouraging
our team members during their creative journeys.
We were all especially moved when she shared her
personal challenge as her sweet daughter suffered
from bulimia & then shared it with the world.

Colleen...we know that you are making room for new
challenges within your personal life but know you'll never
be far away.  We pray that the doors you need opened,
will open in abundance & that every good thing will be yours!

'Shabby AND Chic...Denise!

Denise became a part of our team in
August, 2011 at Challenge #93 and became
an inspiration to all of our players who enjoy the
'shabby-chic' design aesthetic.
She has always been an encouragement to our team.

Denise...as you continue on your creative journey
we want you to know how much we appreciate what
you've brought to our challenge and that your work is
truly a gift.  Many blessings as you continue to
find your creative path.

It's time for a new challenge with the fantastic
suggested colors of . . .

Cobalt...Goldenrod...Peony

The Play Date Cafe PDCC124

Welcome back in to The Cafe!

How cool is this color story graphic??!!
Our Jaclyn Miller does such a fantastic job, doesn't she?!
If you appreciate her color stories as much as our designers do,
we hope you'll leave her a little love when you visit this week.

We also love the suggested color names from Jax
and this week's are:

Raspberry...Harbor...Honey Mustard

This week we have a very special guest & sponsor with us here in The Cafe.

Meet Tanner Bell

"Tanner here! I'm so happy to be sponsoring
The Play Date Cafe Challenge..
I'll bet you never expected a 13 year old guy to be your sponsor this week!  Here's a little about me...I started crafting with the Cricut in 2010, when I was in 5th Grade.
I ordered it from HSN after seeing cards that my friend's grandma made! It seemed like it took FOREVER to arrive. I wanted to know all there was to know about it, so I Googled 'Cricut' and watched YouTube videos and thought 'I can do that!'
So I started doing my own videos in March 2010! I am thrilled to say that to date, I have 601 Subscribers and 60,000+ Channel views.
I've worked SUPER hard! January 1st, 2011 was a Life changing day! Emma from My Creative Time asked ME to be on her FIRST Design TEAM! WOW. So, I had to design a Blog... I used a Blogger template. Once I got my feet wet,  I asked Veronica from Vk Design Co to make it look AWESOME!
In late December 2010, I contacted Kathy from Peachy Keen Stamps to ask if she could make some dog stamps for me.  Little did I know, she would be working with me to this day as my manufacturer.
I featured a segment on my blog while called "Wake up with Tanner". I did it five days a week, at 5am, EACH day before school :) I put TONS of effort into everything I do! Before I could do a 'real' stamp release, I knew I needed a team and I brought on some of my favorite people to help me and and Mr. Cricut Crazy was born! We do a new release EVERY month and it's all going great!
I'm grateful for all the help that has come my way because quite honestly, my mom doesn't stamp...she doesn't craft...but she sure does love me!
Come visit my blog Mr. Cricut Crazy...I'd love to meet you!"

Tanner did one of his famous YouTube videos to go along
with his project, so check it out HERE !!

This week, Mr Cricut Crazy is offering our Cup of the Week...
