Last week you got a glimpse of our new design team.

This week, we are excited to begin sharing their inspiring work with you.

 Each week, you will hear our senior designer's thoughts

behind their color inspirations AND learn a little

something about each of our new designers as

they become your host for each challenge.

"I started crafting at a young age, but I didn't buy my first stamps

until my birthday last year.
Last June, my husband encouraged me

to leave my teaching profession to pursue my
crafting passion and it

was then that my life changed.
I started buying lots of stamps, started

my blog and began entering challenges.  I found that I really love

all sorts of crafts.  I love working in my studio and being creative."

Rather than have some of you wonder and fret,

we thought an update was in order.

The emails have gone out to those who

have been chosen...but we are waiting on a

couple of replies.  A deadline has been set

for responses, so if you have not been

contacted, there is still an opportunity for you.

Also...a few NEW opportunities have arisen

for the applicants of the PDCC Design Team,

so those contacts will be made soon.

We hope to have all contacts made no later than Tuesday.

What an incredible selection we have to choose from.

as they are pouring over all the submissions this week.

Yellow really isn't my colour, although it is definitely creeping 

into my box of supplies!
A couple of years ago I wouldn't have been able 

to produce this journal page as I just never
bought any products in yellow.  

I've learnt what a great accent colour can be, and I have to say, 

I thoroughly enjoyed playing with it on it's own in my journal :)

We had a record number of players this past week

here in The Cafe and we can't thank you enough.

'Color Splash' is simply black & white with a 'bit' of color.

The color are really YOUR INTERPRETATION.

We kept the color suggestions small...will you go

teal green? or maybe teal blue?

It's totally up to you!
