It's time for another fabby challenge here in The Cafe.

Before we get to it, we are very excited to tell you the
new designers who will be joining our team will
be revealed beginning next Monday, July 23rd.
You will not beLIEVE the talent that will be
joining us and we have another fabulous surprise,
as we've invited 
aNOTHer Private Blend Designer
to join us as well!

The Play Date Cafe Welcomes Teri Anderson



It is time for another FAB color challenge here in The Cafe.

Before we get to it, a quick update to let you know that shortly,
we will be sending out official invitations to the designers
who were chosen from our recent Design Team Call.
Narrowing down 88 submissions to fill a mere 7 spots
was hard ... it always is.
We are super excited about the talent that will be joining
us the first week in August, so please stay tuned!

I was also lucky to teach for Paper Crafts magazine in the Caribbean as part of their paper crafting cruise last Fall. The Play Date Cafe Welcomes Amy Tsuruta!



We are so happy to have you back in The Cafe
once again this week!

It was a super exciting race to the finish as those who were
able to get their submissions in for our
DESIGN TEAM CALL
did just that!
We received nearly 90 submissions & are excited about the
possibilities to come.
We want you to know that each submission is carefully considered
as we know what each design need is here on our team.

The question ALWAYS asked after a call is...
'Will we hear something back even if we are not accepted?'
The answer is absolutely yes!!
Just give us time as we need to make sure all of those who
will be accepted respond back once our decisions are made.
We hope to have the final seven chosen by the weekend.

"Hi, Amy Tsuruta here of Tsuruta Designs!  I'm thrilled to be a guest designer here at The Play Date Cafe!  I live in the fabulous state of Washington with my 2 lovely kids.  I'm engaged to thee most spectacular guy that absolutely supports my obsession of crafting:)  I work full time for a design firm located in Seattle so I do most of my crafting on the weekends.
I've been actively blogging since November 2007 and love the paper crafting community.  There is so much inspiration out there!!!  I'm currently on the following Design Teams:
I'm so very thankful for the design teams that I am on AND my former design teams.  I continue to learn new things, meet new people and have been thoroughly enjoying myself through the process.  I love to inspire and BE inspired."

Amy will officially be joining us with our first challenge
in the month of August but will be a guest once more
in July.  We are thrilled to have her!

My Creative Classroom is an online arts and crafts learning center. Our interactive and in-depth courses are instructor led and filled with wonderful projects and techniques to help you get the most out of your supplies.
