Another week has come and gone and
here we are ready for another challenge.
Since the beginning of 2010, we have seen a spike in players here in The Cafe and more than ever, we strive to make this challenge a fun and unique place to play. Most challenge blogs will agree that it takes a team of talent to make it all happen, but this week, The Cafe bids adieu to one of our own.
Alison has been a remarkable gift to The PDCC by offering her creative talents by way of her weekly projects. What you probably don't know is that Alison is the creator of The Cafe logos and directed the graphics for each week's challenges. Alison recently started designing her own line of digi-stamps and is busy working with a variety of blogs and challenges. As she moves on to bigger things, we wish her all the best and thank her most gratefully for helping
The Play Date Cafe get off the ground.
On to the challenge.....
This week's host is Julie Campbell, but the 'very wise' folks at Crafty Secrets have asked her to represent them in their booth at CHA in Anaheim, CA. So, Julie Ranae will be standing in using Jules' inspiration photo.
This week's challenge was inspired by the fabulous retro-style photo above.
The colors are bold and beautiful and we can't wait to see what you do with them.
Here's what Julie Ranae came up with...
Here are projects from our other designers to help inspire you.....

ALL SKILL LEVELS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PLAY!
We want you to enjoy this challenge, so interpret the colors the way you see them. We are not using specific card stock color names nor brands for our challenges, so you can really break out of the box and have some fun. What we do ask is that the colors that are in the challenge BE our focal colors...when using additional colors, please limit them to neutrals. You are welcome to combine challenges, but we do ask that 1. They be used for the first time here 2. You mention in your post that you are playing (better yet, display our color challenge photo) and 3. OUR colors are the focus of the card.
