The Play Date Cafe Challenge PDCC79

Welcome back to The Play Date Cafe!
Hope you are enjoying your time with us.
It's so exciting to see all the new players and followers
that come along each week.

Your color host this week is one of our

Sarah has been burning the candle at both ends with
a new job and wonderful creative opportunities
right in her own home town.
So she will be sharing her project with us a little later.

We are so very happy to introduce this week's
Guest Designer to The Cafe....

"I am a stay-at-home mom to three wonderful kids and have been married to my high school sweetheart for 8 years.  I started making cards while I was in college and have been hooked ever since.  I have been a member of the Hero Arts Design Team for the past two years and I feel so lucky to work with such a talented and sweet group of girls.
I love to create all types of crafts...home decor, kids crafts, cards and most recently I'm learning to sew.  A few of my other loves are to shopping, chocolate, organizing, graphic design, volleyball and baking.  If I can get my kids to nap at the same time during the day and have a little crafty time to myself I am a happy girl."

Our designers love to work with the stamps
and products that our most generous sponsors
provide and this week is no exception.

"Hero Arts is a family-owned business, a green business
and our wood, Cling & POLYclear stamps are proudly
made right here in the USA!
(you can learn more HERE).
We are dedicated to our customers, passionate about
our community and grateful to be a part of the
wonderful & thriving craft of stamping.
to join the community and find inspiration every day!

This week's 'Cup of the Week' will win....

The Play Date Cafe Challenge PDCC78

It's time to embrace Spring!
How about these fabby colors, huh?!
Cath Kidston is recognized the world over and we
thought it would be fun to put these signature colors
into play for this week's challenge.

Your host this week, Senior Designer Julie Ranae

"Yep...whenever I would see Cath Kidston dry goods
in my travels, I would continually think of what a great
color story it would make for our challenge.
I think the colors are Spring-like and really great
layering colors...Enjoy!!!"

It's always so fun to have a new
Guest Designer
in The Cafe and this week
is no exception!
We welcome...

The Play Date Cafe Challenge PDCC77

You guys totally rocked last week's challenge!
Those vivid colors combined with your
fantastically creative projects
made it one of our most colorful galleries to date.

One quick housekeeping note:
Please remember to either post our color story graphic
and/or the name of our challenge with a direct link
to our challenge site.
There are a few of you who have
been missing that part and we want you all to be eligible
for the fabulous prizes on offer.
Another quick reminder is to link back to your post
that refers to this challenge...not your entire blog.
Again, it disqualifies you from winning and we
want you to be rewarded for your beautiful work.

Now onto the fun!

Your host for this week is one of our UK girls,

"As everyone knows I do like my bright colours so for this week’s colours I set myself a mini challenge .. to create a colour palette that was a bit more neutral!  Now that Spring is here I thought it would be nice to add a splash of green to lift things up a bit, with all that new foliage sprouting up around everywhere!   I hope you enjoy working with this week’s colour story as much as I have with this week’s sponsor stamps by Greeting Farm.  I just LOVE their stamps!"

Our guest designer this week is one fun & fab
designer in the blogging world.
If you follow her at all on Facebook, you will know
just how fun she can be!
Please welcome....

Jessica Diedrich

"I'm Jessica Diedrich and I am SO excited to be the Guest Designer this week for the PDCC!  I was bitten by the stamping bug about 7 years ago now and I think it gets more infectious every day!  I've met some of my best friends through this craft and have had the opportunity to accomplish some really exciting things while doing so.  In addition to being a Mommy of 4 (my GREATEST accomplishments in life), stamping, and working from home for The Greeting Farm, I enjoy reading, tons of good music, spending time at the pool or lake with my family and our dogs, and I really enjoy a good cup of coffee no matter WHAT time of day it is!
Thanks so much for having me along for your AWESOME challenge!"

We are really excited to welcome yet another
new sponsor to The Cafe....
"The Greeting Farm" first sprouted into the stamping world in 2008 as a small dream and has cultivated into something wonderful because of our wonderful customers like you!  With two plus years of fun-loving, animated characters, including our best-selling "Anya" icon, The Greeting Farm brings you cute, charismatic images that are LOADS of fun to COLOR!  Shortly after the popularity of Anya and her sidekick Ian arose, our Wild Sprout line was added, including the Cheeky Cherry collection featuring an almost vintage/pinup feel that has been widely popular after our first CHA trade show in winter of 2010!  Also added to to our line last year was the adorable Oliver and Amelia collection, and brand new this year, our "Creepers"-a more edgy and artistic side of TGF.  There is truly something for EVERYONE on the Farm and we are so glad to be sponsoring the Play Date Cafe!  Please visit us at www.thegreetingfarm.com!"

This week's 'Cup of the Week' is going to enjoy a
$25 Shopping Spree from The Greeting Farm!!!

You will notice that each of our designers have a common-look
this week!  The folks at The Greeting Farm graciously
provided Anya & Ian for each of us to design with
and we are out to really inspire you this week!
We also welcome a few of the designers of The Greeting Farm
who will be joining us as well!
