The Play Date Cafe Challenge PDCC72

Thank you!  Thank you!  Thank you!

You've done it again!
You've helped us reach yet another milestone here in
The Cafe!
We had a record number of players for the past week's
'Player's Choice Color Splash'!

Choosing our Cup of the Week, Fab 4 and Creams
was especially difficult, but we don't mind the challenge!
It's so great to have you all and your creativity
hanging in The Cafe Gallery.

This week' host for the challenge is our very own

"I love the way Dina Wakley puts together texture and
colour in her journals.  This particular colour combo
caught my eye because although it may occur to me
to put blue and pink together,
I'm not sure I'd have thought of the yellowy orange,
and yet it works...
beautifully!"

We are super SUPER excited about this
week's Guest Designer.  She has been a
long-time player with us and a HUGE
supporter of our challenge.

A big welcome to Julie Day

"I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate my
one year anniversary
playing the Play Date Café challenges then to play along
with the Play Date Café girls!
I was first introduced to stamping in 1998 when my boyfriend (now husband) took me to an arts and crafts store and bought me a stamp set of my choosing. After that first inking I was hooked!
I’ve dabbled in other areas such as sketching, painting, scrapbooking, and jewelry, but my true love has always been card making. When I started working full time, I quickly discovered that most of my crafting hobbies didn’t jive with my work schedule and one of the best rewards of any creative process is the end result. Not only does card making fit my time requirements, but the creative process is a stress reliever and I get a finished project within a short time frame. Between work and my own creative time I also enjoy teaching card classes to the ladies at our church and being part of a stamp club that meets once a month. Not only has card making fulfilled my creative needs, but I’ve also made some great friendships along the way."

Another familiar face in The Cafe this week
is this week's sponsor....

Wilson Designs Stamps is owned and operated by Kim Wilson,
a SAHM, artist, paper crafter and blogger who
fell in love with the idea
of hand drawing her own stamp sets.
With the encouragement of her husband and family
she decided to go for it and start
her own line of photopolymer clear stamps!
Wilson Designs Stamps are made from a high quality photopolymer
that resists pooling or beading of inks to ensure
a great stamped image!
Fun and creative stamps for the modern paper crafter,
manufactured here in the USA!

and this week's Cup of the Week will get
this fun and fab stamp set....

  7. Thank you Thank YOU! I am so very flattered to make the Fab 4 this week; especially because ALL the entries this week were amazing and because, although it was a very quick page that I created, it was very much from the heart and actually kind of cleansing for me to do. I am grateful to everyone here that designs and plays for the wonderful weekly inspiration. Please feel my appreciation! :)
