Exciting week here as we welcome a
brand new sponsor to The Cafe.
Our own design team has had an
opportunity to play with some their
fabulous 'vintage' images
and we can't wait for you to see!
Before we share, let's see what
our Senior Designer, Sarah Anderson
has to share about her 'color story' this week...
"My colour choice this week is inspired by
strong-coloured summer flowers that
really make a statement!
Looking back at our colour challenges,
I've noticed we'd not really included purple.
I love Lupins, but they tend to disappear
from my garden. I think the slugs come from
far and wide to eat them! I wish I could grow
them, though...they are SO striking. I think
it's so fun how raindrops gather in the centre
of the leaves......
to form mirrors of drinking water for the fairies."
A BIG welcome to our
newest sponsor....
Very cool that AO and The PDCC
have someone special in common...
"We are pleased to sponsor this week's challenge.
We heard about your challenge from our own
Design Team Coordinator, Lisa Somerville,
who brings us fun ideas on a daily basis.
We're always amazed at what your
participants create and
the color combinations are both
creatively challenging as well as 'attainable'.
We frequently release new images, so please
sign up for our newsletter via our website.
We welcome you to The AO Blog
which offers new samples nearly everyday.
We hope you enjoy what the designers from
The Play Date Cafe have created using our
'vintage-inspired' images.
