The Play Date Cafe Challenge PDCC102

October is finally here!
It's the month that we begin to think about all facets
of the season including the
'spooky' colors of Halloween.

We thought we would get your creative juices flowing
with this terrific color story chosen by Jaclyn.
We hope you have a lot of fun with these colors!

Her suggested color palette is:

Slime Green.....Frightful Fuschia...
Putrid Purple...Black as Night

We are happy to have back in The Cafe
 as this week's sponsor.

"STAMPOTIQUE Fine Art Stamps began June 1, 1996, in Phoenix, Arizona, out of the love for rubber stamping and paper crafting. We began as a fine art rubber stamp store and in January 2000, began manufacturing our own rubber stamps. We now ship all over the world, although remaining a ‘mom and pop’ business so that we can still offer full attention to each and every order.

On November 17, 2007, the retail store closed its doors in order to allow us to concentrate on our growing website, both retail and wholesale.
We hope you will find our site inspirational and continue to revisit at your leisure. Our intention is to continuously update with new images, new samples and all the latest and greatest ‘must haves’ of the industry. Feel free to send us your creations and we will post them on the website for the whole world to enjoy."

The Play Date Cafe Challenge PDCC101

The week's seem to be flying by, don't they?

Each week, it is one tough decision to limit our
winners and honorable mentions down to what we do.
This week was NO EXCEPTION!
What a beautiful gallery you provided with all
the inspiring creations.
Thank you for helping us celebrate challenge #100!
Here we are with another amazing color story
from our Color Story Coordinator, Jaclyn.
Such rich colors indeed.

Her suggested colors are:
Wine...Smudge...Leather...Parchment

Now it's up to you to interpret what those
colors mean to you!
That's what we love about our challenge....
colors are subjective in many ways and we
like it that way for our challenge...so have fun!

This week, we welcome a new sponsor to The Cafe...

Paper and Such is an online store that just opened in May of 2011.  Shortly after opening, we decided to debut our own stamp line, and it's been nothing short of exciting.  Our stamps are clear photopolymer, and are made right here in the USA!  Our HOT SHOT line is a line of chicken stamps - if you haven't seen them, be sure to check them out.  We carry a variety of stamps and supplies to suit everyone's style, and we are constantly adding to our inventory with new manufacturers.

This week's Cup of the Week will receive....
