The Play Date Cafe Challenge PDCC89




Welcome to this week's challenge

Each week, we are absolutely blown away by the
creativity and design-work that goes into your projects
and last week, you really outdid yourselves.
We bring some of the most challenging color combos
to you and you do not shy away from the challenge!

"Hi, my name is Nicky Hsu. I am so happy to be the guest designer this week for PDCC. I live in Seattle with my loving husband and a beautiful cat. We are soon to be parents this summer and very excited to meet our little guy. My boy is the best gift I ever had.
I’ve been stamping, paper-crafting for about 3 years and have been hooked ever since. I’ve always liked to play with color, paper, pens since I was a kid. I am so happy to find the paper-craft world and it’s just another way to extend my all time favorite hobby. Of course a lot more fun. I enjoy the look on people’s faces when they open my card and seeing how much they love and feel loved through the cards. It makes me happy knowing my cards 
make them happy.

PDCC COLORS BE THE
FOCUS OF YOUR SUBMISSION
When using additional colors, 
they must be limited to neutrals.
You are welcome to combine challenges,
but we do ask that:
1. The PDCC name and/or photo is used
2. OUR colors are the focus of the card.

The Play Date Cafe PDCC88


What an amazing colors once again this week!
Our Color Story Coordinator, Jaclyn Miller,
has a real eye for inspiration and once again,
she has brought something unique to The Cafe.

This week's suggested colors are:
Red-ish/Orange...Yucky Yellow...Juniper

"Hi, I’m Debby, a UK based stay at home Mum to three great kids, and I’m beyond delighted to be the guest designer for 
The Play Date Café.
 Even as a small child I loved paper, card and bright envelopes. As an adult the stationary section always drew me for a cute notebook or two. So I suppose it was no surprise when I started making my own papercrafts about 6 years ago. I found that being creative was a great way to unwind after a hectic day with three young children. As I found my way into all things crafty I wondered at the inspiration on amazing blogs. Eventually last year I started my own blog, Lime Doodle. As my style evolved, I turned time and again to challenges to help kick start my creativity. The Play Date Café is one of my favourite places to stop for a coffee and a splash of inspiration. I hope you enjoy the fabulous colours this week as much as I have."
