"Over the past few weeks, we have been inspired to create Valentines using less traditional colors, so I thought for this week, we would go 'old school' with a little silver twist.  
Yummy heart-shaped red-hots were always a staple
at my grade-school parties...how about you?"

CAFE NEWS

As you may know, we have a design team call going on right now and we want to remind you that it is open to all.
The submissions are coming in daily but there is still time for you
to get yours in as well.
The final call will be Sunday, February 28th.
The new team will be announced sometime
the first week of March.

This week, we are also excited to tell you about a new addition to
The Play Date Cafe and another opportunity for  
YOU to be featured.
Each week, our design team keep an eye out for players who can have an opportunity to be featured as a  
'Private Blend' Designer.
This is a player who, from week to week,
stands out with an innovative and
inspiring style.
It is by invitation-only and can happen at any time
for an open-ended period.

So who is our very first 'Private Blend' Designer...

Cafe Spotlight will be announced during the next challenge.
ALL SKILL LEVELS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PLAY! 
We want you to enjoy this challenge, so interpret the colors the way you see them. We are not using specific card stock color names nor brands for our challenges, so you can really break out of the box and have some fun. What we do ask is that the colors that are in the challenge be OUR focal colors...when using additional colors, please limit them to neutrals. You are welcome to combine challenges, but we do ask that 1. They be used for the first time here 2. You mention in your post that you are playing (better yet, display our color challenge photo) and 3. OUR colors are the focus of the card.
